History of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival
The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is a music festival that takes place in Okeechobee, Florida. The festival was founded in 2014 by Steve Sybesma and Paul Peck. The first edition of the festival took place from March 27 to 30, 2015, and featured over 80 musical acts on 12 stages.
The festival was organized into three main stages- the Be, Here, and Now Stage, the Aquachobee Beach Stage, and the Jungle Stage.
The festival returned in 2016 with a lineup that included Mumford & Sons, Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex, and Bassnectar. The 2016 edition of the festival was held from March 31 to April 03. In 2017, the festival took place from March 02 to 05 and featured headliners such as Chance the Rapper, Usher & The Roots, Flume, and Solange.
The 2018 edition of the festival was held from March 01 to 04. The lineup for this year included Arcade Fire, The Killers, Halsey, and Bassnectar. The 2019 edition of the festival was held from February 28 to March 03.
